How much does a dental implant cost?
How much does a tooth implant cost? It depends on the doctor and the quality of the dental implant. We use only EU-certified dental implants made in France by Swiss companies.

- Aesthetics. Dental implants are designed to improve the functional and aesthetic side. You will chew the food as your teeth were, and most importantly the tooth that will be replaced with a porcelain crown will look the same as the other teeth, making it possible to improve your appearance.
- Improvement in speech. The lack of teeth affects the way words are articulated. Movable prostheses create problems in the way words are articulated. Implants exactly replace natural teeth avoiding speech problems.
- Comfort. Implants are permanent fixtures and do not move. You will never feel foreign in the mouth as removable dentures can be.

Dental implants or porcelain bridges?
For years for Albanians, the only option to replace lost teeth have been porcelain bridges or removable dentures in every Dental Clinic in Albania.
Implants do not require support in healthy teeth, to replace a tooth with urea requires “sacrifice” or removal of enamel of two healthy teeth.
Oral hygiene which is essential for the longevity of teeth, bridges or implants is at least 100% better than that of bridges as the bridge itself is joined and does not allow the entry of saliva or dental floss for cleaning. Accumulation of impurities will lead to bridge failure over time and bad breath.

How successful are they?
The success of implants depends on the location in the jaw, genetics, maintenance and oral hygiene. Overall the success of implants is 98% and if oral hygiene, periodic dental cleaning is regular they can last a lifetime.
Am I a candidate for implants?
Important factors that should be considered before implant placement are:
Condition of the jaw bone. It depends on the amount of bone in your jaw its width and width should be sufficient with a healthy bone to hold the implant screw. In cases where these conditions are not met then synthetic bone can be added to improve the density, height and width of the place where this implant will be placed. How long does the treatment last?
Placing an implant or implanted tooth requires a healthy bone. In cases where it is infected or is not in sufficient quantity and artificial bone should be used to fix this problem, then extra time is needed 3-6 months before the implant is placed.
The implant itself to integrate with the bone and become a body requires a minimum of 3-5 months before the placement of the porcelain crown.
Is the procedure painful?
Today every dental treatment must be “pain-free” which means every treatment is performed under the effect of local anesthesia and without pain. In Albania, there are still dentists who use old methods which are performed without anesthesia. This brings an almost irreparable psychological cost to some patients.
